I've upgraded the version of the site to the latest stable release for security, no major changes. I spent a bit of time optimizing the database, doing little bits here and there. No problems found. So this post is primarily to document that things are being kept up to date.

Just adding that I had a bit of a tidy around. Yes, we're blue. It just made a change from the green (and buys me some time to make a green forum theme for when we next use green. Some blocks of information have been shifted around since in their former positions they were causing minor problems with the template.
I also changed the shop to brown and rotated the ads around. A bit late now, but as a reminder if anyone is already using Amazon, the links from the site could benefit us.
