I had to laugh REALLY hard at the couple of "get over yourselves" type posts near the end of those comments! Oh, boy, some people just love to be obtuse, don't they?
Seriously, though. This does seem to be a prime example of how school is just there to teach the mindset of being a good little employee, instead of fostering and cultivating a creative and inquiring mind.

The comments on this thread made my day, LOL...
If it weren't such a silly question, I'd wonder aloud if the school district was *that* hard up for teachers...(But we know the unfortunate answer.)
Some people should not be allowed to have significant input into children's lives...
Long live Frederick!
I bet this kid feels exactly like just a blank line on the page (in this particular class), upon which the teacher feels entitled to inscribe whatever suits her whim.
She clearly prefers pupils as human Tabula Rasa.
(Cue Pink Floyd: "Teacher, leave them kids alone!")

I actually made it to "Frederick, you will not be forgotten!" before completely cracking up.
What's great is that far from putting up with Ms ***, *** is clearly capable of pushing her buttons and enjoys doing so. He's not going to be a victim of the abusive little cow.
